Support

On-Line Help can be accessed from the application. This help information includes practical requirements as well as help on use of the software.

However, for those users who prefer to read paper reference guides, these are also provided for downloading and are included on distribution CDs.

The on-line web-help is constantly being updated and incorporates day-to-day tips and examples of best practice. This also means you can look things up from any Internet connected PC even when you are not using the software.

Support is provided by Scribe 2000 as part of the UK licence without any further cost.

We are confident that any existing Scribe 2000 customers will vouch for the commitment and responsiveness of support provided. This is provided through a variety of channels.

First of all Scribe applications are simple to use on a point-and-click basis. Accounts 2010 uses standard Microsoft components so takes on a similar form to the Microsoft Office layout of ribbon toolbars.

It is also flexible in order to meet the individual circumstances of each Council.

A User Information Centre on the website acts as a way of keeping users up to date with Scribe 2000 strategies and proposed enhancements to the software.

It also includes relevant local council news and useful links.  You can download program updates and various guides and documents.

A Support Centre includes a User Forum, a Scribe blog, FAQs, contacts for advice and many other features.

This is designed to be your main focus for getting help and advice, whether from Scribe itself, from our external advice team, or from neighbouring councils who use Scribe.

Training

No special training will be needed, even if you have not used a computer much before, so no extra training costs will be incurred.

Business Continuity Strategy

We have a contingency arrangement in place so that in certain circumstances support can be obtained direct from the development team
